Françoise Astorg is a self-taught artist specializing in pastel and pencil drawing. Also trained by Florence Mallet, she has developed a realistic, sensitive, and meticulous approach, where light, textures, and expressions play a vital role. Her work reflects a quest for precision and emotion through pieces imbued with finesse and authenticity. The exhibited drawings primarily depict busts of statues and animals.
Isabelle Daimez has loved drawing since early childhood. In 1996, she began painting with acrylics and experimented with pastels and watercolor pencils. Due to health issues that made it difficult to work standing up, she discovered walnut stain and began painting small subjects. She then naturally gravitated towards watercolor, a technique that requires considerable learning and patience. In 2023, Isabelle took up oil painting. Her favorite subjects are mountains, lakes, and especially snowscapes. She works mainly from photos she takes during her walks.
