Following a residency in Quebec’s boreal forests and a series of pastels documenting her discovery and exploration of that environment, Marianne Tricot continues her exploration of the natural world around her.

Richly colored, her drawings alternately challenge and re-enchant our gaze, while inviting us to become more aware of our surroundings. Whether small or large in scale, they take the form of all kinds of series, sequences, or moments—testament to an attentive engagement with the world.
