Élisabeth Laurelot, the Time Adventurer - Adventure Game

Objective of the game: Using your game kit and a free smartphone app, you’ll set off through the village of Saint-Sigismond to help Elisabeth. Along the way, your smartphone will help you find various clues. Write them down in your notebook. These clues will lead you to a secret location where you can complete the game. How to play: Head to the Cluses tourist office to pick up your game kit and download the free app needed to complete the game. One kit is required for the entire family. Our team will explain how the game and the app work. It couldn’t be simpler! The Route: The trail begins at the parking lot of the Saint-Sigismond Church. First, you’ll need to go to the Cluses Tourist Office to pick up your game kit. Next, you’ll need to drive to the village of Saint-Sigismond (a 15- to 20-minute drive). The game route follows a loop through the village; your smartphone will guide you. The path may be slippery in one particular spot, and a small stream often overflows onto the stones of the path. You must be in good physical condition and wear walking shoes to complete the route. Part of the route is on the road, and it can get hot there in the summer. Location: Saint-Sigismond is located in the mid-mountain range, about 10 km from Cluses, on the road to Les Carroz d'Arâches. The game starts in Saint-Sigismond, but to complete the course, you’ll need to pick up the game kit at the Cluses tourist office. Things to do and see in the village: Try to visit the village church, which dates back to the 13th century. If the doors are closed, you can contact the La Sauvegarde association at 04 50 34 23 11 or the town hall for information on opening hours. Continue on your way (about 7 minutes) to the Agy Plateau, which offers a magnificent view as well as easy walks. Food and Drink: You can have a picnic in the village center or along the game trail, which you can pause at any time. The fountain in the village square at the start of the game trail is a great place to fill up your water bottle. Please note: there are no shops in Saint-Sigismond. If you’re coming from Cluses, stop at the bakery in Châtillon-sur-Cluses to pick up delicious pastries and tasty sandwiches before reaching the village. La Tanière restaurant welcomes you year-round on the Agy Plateau. Finding shade: Part of the game takes place in the cool forest, but the sun is often out along the course. Parking: Plenty of parking spaces on the church square. Restrooms: There are no public restrooms in Saint-Sigismond. For individuals, no reservation is required. For groups and school groups, it is best to contact the tourist office.
