Discovery Wednesdays: the secrets of our villages

Set off to discover the history and heritage of the villages of the Sources du lac d’Annecy through guided walks led by the passionate members of the association Les Amis de Viuz-Faverges, creators and custodians of local historical knowledge since 1972. Each week, a new village becomes the setting for your walk, from Cons Sainte-Colombe to Chevaline, all the way to Saint-Ferréol, where stories blend with landscapes and the scents of the local terroir. Each outing reveals the architectural and cultural treasures of a village, from surprising anecdotes to its most iconic sites. Walks end with a tasting of local products, offering a true taste of the destination. It is the perfect opportunity to learn as a family, meet local people, and chat with the tourism office advisors. These walks are designed for all audiences, accessible to families, strollers, people with reduced mobility, and even curious dogs! It manages the archaeological museum of Viuz-Faverges and organizes various cultural activities such as publications, exhibitions, and conferences. Accessibility: Parking options are specified for each village on your ticket. Cancellation and refund policy: Cancellations are possible up to 15 days before the scheduled date; no cancellations are accepted after this deadline. Refunds are processed upon receipt of bank details and valid identification, within a minimum of 30 days. No cancellation insurance is offered. In the event of cancellation on our part, due to weather conditions, a rescheduling or refund will be offered. Refunds will be processed within a minimum of 30 days (public treasury processing times), upon presentation of valid identification and bank details.
