This route is intended for experienced hikers. Starting in Cluses, you’ll hike up to the village of Saint-Sigismond and its magnificent plateau, which offers a breathtaking view of the Arve Valley.

Take the D902, which runs through the center of Cluses. At the Carrefour de l’Europe, the Allobroges roundabout, and the Charles Poncet High School roundabout, continue straight ahead. Cross the railroad tracks. At the intersection with Rue des Grands Champs, turn right toward Avenue de Chatillon. At the third turn, turn right toward Route de la Côte. This old road takes you away from heavy traffic and lets you enjoy the view of Cluses, its valley, and the Bargy mountain range in the distance. At the end of the climb, look up! The Saint-Martin Church awaits you there. Continue on your way and rejoin the D902. At the roundabout, take the first right toward Saint-Sigismond, Arâches-la-Frasse, and Les Carroz d’Arâches. Continue on the D6 (Route d’Arâches) for 4 km. When you arrive in the village of Saint-Sigismond, turn left onto the D206 (Route d’Agy). This road will take you to your destination: the Agy Plateau. Here, you’ll find yourself immersed in nature, surrounded by a breathtaking 360° panorama. Take the same route back.
