The first part of the ride takes you along roads and rural trails, offering breathtaking views all the way to Les Vuargnes. Descend toward Morsullaz via terraced trails, winding through meadows and forests, for a more challenging ride.
Start at the Tourist Office and head toward the Gorges du Cé: after the bakery, turn right onto Route d’Alloup for a gradual climb offering a view of the valley. Then take a narrow trail on your right that leads briefly to a house (access permitted) before opening up onto a flat, rolling section through fields, offering a breathtaking view of the Massif du Môle (weather permitting).
After passing near a hamlet of houses, rejoin the Chemin des Vuargnes, cross a stream, and tackle a technical climb via the red “Gentianes” trail, beneath the ski lift. At the Y-junction on the climb, turn right for a long stretch through the forest and fields to the Bété parking lot. Then take the paved road to the left, followed by the Chemin des Converchons to the right toward Morsullaz. Once in the forest, continue straight ahead toward Morsullaz, then keep climbing along the hedge of the first house on your right. At the second house, take the path that runs along the right side of the house, then turn right to rejoin the return trail. Cross a clearing, pass by the Oratoire de la Gouille, and head down toward the Buttex Bridge. Before the bridge, turn left onto the Chemin de la Scierie, and continue downhill to return to the Tourist Office.
