An attractive mixed route on footpaths and roads that allows you to reach La Clusaz on foot from the Col des Aravis, avoiding the departmental road.

From Col des Aravis, follow the GRP Tournette-Aravis towards Crèvetout and Crêt du Merle. Enjoy views of the Beauregard and Etale massifs, as well as the beautiful traditional chalets along the way. Once you've reached Crêt du Merle, you can take the chairlift down to the village center (free descent). This walk is also accessible in the opposite direction, by taking the chairlift up to the Crêt du Merle (fee payable). A free shuttle bus will take you back down to the village from the Col des Aravis (timetable available on aravisbus.fr). Whatever hike you choose, remember to pack snacks, enough water, sunglasses, sunscreen, a small first-aid kit, as well as clothing suitable for your outing depending on the season and the weather forecast.
