Cordon to Sallanches - hiking trail

To avoid walking along the road, Cordon Tourisme offers a route connecting Cordon to Sallanches via trails. This route passes through Nant-Cruy, a hamlet of Sallanches located near Cordon. The first part of the route follows the road, then you’ll take a small wooded trail down toward downtown Sallanches. Be sure to plan your return trip in advance: there is a bus line between Cordon and Sallanches, the Y86. Please note that this route includes a section of road. Even though it’s a hamlet road, stay alert for motorists. A map is available at the tourist office to help you explore this trail and other routes. No matter which hike you choose, be sure to pack cereal bars, plenty of water, sunglasses, sunscreen, a small first-aid kit, and clothing appropriate for your outing based on the season and the forecast.
