A pleasant hike through the alpine pastures. The ascent is gradual and easy. The trail begins in the forest before reaching Sommier d'aval. Keep your eyes open—the scenery is magnificent!

Step-by-Step Guide: From La Lanche to Combe Marto: 1 hour 45 minutes The trailhead is at Le Reposoir in the La Lanche parking lot. Follow the trail marked “Combe d’Oulette (1 hour 30 minutes).” After a 40-minute walk, you’ll arrive at Sommier d’Aval in front of the “Les Cabrettes” goat farm. Follow the path as it continues, cross the stream, and keep going until you reach the “Combe d’Oulette” sign. Turn left, following the direction “Combe Marto (0h15).” The trail continues to the Combe Marto chalet. Enjoy the view of Sommier d’Amont and d’Aval and the Col des Annes. From Combe Marto to Méry: 1 hour Continue along the trail to Méry. When you reach the Méry mountain pasture, take a well-deserved break; you can also buy cheese sold directly from the farm. From Méry to La Lanche: 1h20 Follow the signs for Méry Ouest and Le Vélard and descend to an elevation of 1,300 m. To return to the La Lanche parking lot, follow the “La Lanche” route.

From Cluses, take the D4 toward Le Reposoir. In the village, take the road on the left, which is across from the La Chartreuse hotel/restaurant. Follow the road; at the intersection, continue straight ahead and drive along the Carmel. Pass the Vallon farm on your right and continue straight ahead until you reach the Lanche parking lot.
