Built on the site of a former convent in 1901, City Hall is an example of neoclassical architecture.

Visitors have free access to the first floor, where a monumental painting by the Cluses-born artist Claude Hugard (1816–1885) depicting the 1844 fire in Cluses is on display. On the same floor, an electric clock made by students at the Cluses watchmaking school in 1911 is on display.
