A superb climbing area, thanks to its exposed climbs on numerous long routes on generally excellent limestone—quite sculpted and offering good grip. The sun shines from mid-morning until late in the afternoon, even in winter.

- Parking at “La Croix Verte,” between La Frasse and Saint-Sigismond, at the intersection for Ballancy. Access is via rappelling, followed by a walk if necessary.
For the Robin Hood route, no abseiling is required to reach it: From Cluses heading toward Sallanches, pass Conforama and Vive le Jardin. 100 m further on, turn left onto a dirt road that leads back toward Cluses (park on the side of the road). Walk 200 m to an intersection, then follow the right-hand branch (an old forest road) until you enter the woods. Leave the trail and head up through the forest, keeping to the right, until you reach the base of the cliff, then cross over to reach the base of Robin Hood (35 minutes).
