With the DUO offer, children have access to both sites in the village of Abondance.
At the Abbey, they'll meet up with one of our cultural mediators to discover all the secrets of this emblematic monument of the Abondance valley.
There are two options: a guided tour adapted to the age and level of the children, or a discovery game called “On Giacomo's Trail” to discover the Abbey while having fun.
At the Maison du Fromage Abondance, they'll embark on a 9-step sensory tour. From the organization of mountain farming to the production process, from know-how to traditions, all the flavors of Abondance cheese will be revealed to them.
Duration: 3h30 to 4h (1h30 or 2h + 2h) depending on the choice of activities.
Activities can be spread out over the day, with one activity in the morning and the other in the afternoon. Times and choice of activities are to be defined at the time of booking.
The Abbaye d'Abondance can accommodate two classes simultaneously if the activities are different.
