From 24 August to 5 September 2027, Haute-Savoie will play host to the second edition of the UCI Cycling World Championships – the largest event in the history of cycling and para-cycling.

From 24 August to 5 September 2027, Haute-Savoie will host the second edition of the UCI Cycling World Championships, the largest event in the history of cycling and para-cycling. Over 13 days, 20 UCI World Championships will take place across 15 competition venues, set against the spectacular and iconic backdrop of lakes, valleys and mountains: Annecy, Châtel – Portes du Soleil, Cluses, Doussard, La Clusaz, La Roche-sur-Foron, Les Gets, Morillon – Grand Massif, Rumilly, Sallanches–Domancy – Pays du Mont-Blanc, Samoëns – Grand Massif, Saint-Pierre-en-Faucigny, Thônes, the town of Évian, and the National Velodrome in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines (Yvelines, France). Nearly 15,000 elite and amateur athletes from the 206 national federations affiliated with the UCI will take part in this landmark event, which is set to make cycling history. The programme will bring together both established and emerging disciplines, celebrating the full diversity and richness of cycling like never before. Designed as an open, inclusive, popular and festive event, the 2027 UCI Cycling World Championships Haute-Savoie Mont-Blanc place gender equality, inclusion and accessibility at the heart of their organisation. Developed with and for the people of Haute-Savoie, the Championships also aim to create a lasting legacy by encouraging cycling participation, strengthening the cycling industry and enhancing the international profile of the region. • 13 days of competition, from 24 August to 5 September 2027 • 20 UCI World Championships • Nearly 15,000 elite and amateur athletes expected • Athletes representing 206 UCI-affiliated national federations • 288 UCI World Titles to be awarded, with more than 30% dedicated to para-cycling • 15 competition venues • 4,000 volunteers • More than 700 accredited media representatives • Approximately 2 million spectators expected
