Cé Gorge - Hike

Step-by-Step Guide: From the school (parking lot) to the Gorge du Cé: 15 minutes From the parking lot, turn onto Impasse du Corrioz and immediately turn right onto the path that descends to the gorge between the cabin and the house. Follow the trail as it brings you closer to the river, and at the Gorge du Cé, head toward Chamoule (0h30). From the Gorge du Cé to Chamoule: 30 minutes The scenery is quite striking; the cliff faces, which start out far apart, gradually close in to form a narrow passage where the trail winds its way between the cliffs. After this narrow passage, cross the stream to reach the opposite slope. At the intersection with a 4x4 trail, turn left. Fifty meters further on, head toward Chamoule by crossing the field in the middle to take the path that passes beneath the house. Follow the paved road through the hamlet. It climbs up to a pond. From there, turn left onto the Chemin du Bèle and follow the arrows. From Chamoule to the school (parking lot): 1 hour The trail crosses the road and takes you to the second hamlet, Les Monts. To cross it, take the small road on your right. Continue straight ahead on the road through the chalets until you reach the Chemin des Poussins. At this point, leave the paved road and go straight onto the path that descends alongside a stone wall. At the Chemin de Cremelin, go straight ahead to return to the parking lot.
