From the Pirraz car park (Vérel), the walk to the Angon Waterfall is the shortest and most accessible. The shaded and well-signposted path winds down through the forest before reaching a spectacular section carved into the cliff face.
It is nevertheless a nice bucolic walk but beware, the access path to the waterfalls remains slippery at all times!
Practical information :
4 seasons course: beware of slippery or even muddy ground!
Car park : in the direction of the Col de la Forclaz, at the entrance to Vérel, chemin de la Closette - Vérel car park: paying from may to September (as well as all car parks in Talloires/Montmin)
Fitted shoes
Lac Annecy Aravis Outdoor: two other routes are proposed on our app. La Boucle de l'Ermitage Saint-Germain - Ponnay or the Angon loop towards Rovagny - the Nant d'Oy: they all pass close to the waterfalls but on different paths with more gradients... beautiful walks in perspective!
