Description
The building that now houses the Museum of Watchmaking and Bar Turning and the Municipal Archives is a former watch factory founded in the 19th century and renovated in 1993.

The factory, of course, used the energy from the Arve River to power its machines. A few remnants of the old hydroelectric plant can still be seen.
