We're not presenting it anymore! The long-awaited Carnival takes over the streets of La Clusaz. Young and old, locals and holidaymakers alike, all will be out in force for an evening of costumes and festivities throughout the village!

It’s the big night! We know you’re familiar with the concept of a carnival, but let us tell you that ours is quite special… We wouldn’t go so far as to say we’re competing with the Rio Carnival, but we can promise you’ll be just as spellbound. Enchanted by the urge to dance, sing, and celebrate with us. Carnival is the perfect opportunity to have some fun right at the start of the week, to pull out your favorite costume, and to fully embrace the character you choose to be for one night. Come celebrate with us, and let the parade of floats amaze you for the evening. Schedule: Starting at 7 p.m., the parade will set off from Le Bossonnet and light up the village streets all the way to the Place de l’Église. Around 8:00 p.m., once the parade is over, the Place de l’Église will take on a festive atmosphere with a DJ set until 10:00 p.m. Free samples of mulled wine, hot chocolate, and farmhouse Reblochon cheese will be available on the square. Costumes and accessories will be available for rent or purchase from Le Bal Masqué at the Salon d’Honneur of the Tourist Office early in the week. Face painting will be available at the Tourist Office on the day of the event. Registration opens the preceding Sunday, in person, while spaces last.
