It needs no introduction! The long-awaited Carnival is taking over the streets of La Clusaz. Young and old, locals and visitors alike, everyone will come together for an evening of costumes and festivities in the streets of the village!
It's the big night!
We know you're familiar with the carnival concept, but let us tell you that ours is pretty special...
We wouldn't dream of saying that we're competing with the Rio carnival, but we can promise you that you'll be just as enchanted.
Bewitched by a desire to dance, to sing, to feast with us. Carnival is an opportunity to treat yourself at the start of the week, get out your favorite costume and play the character you decide to be for an evening.
Come and celebrate with us, and let the parade of floats fill you with wonder for an evening.
Program :
Starting at 7pm, the procession will set off from Le Bossonnet and set the village streets alight all the way to Place de l'Église. At around 8pm, once the parade is over, the Place de l'Église will take on its festive air.
Free tasting of mulled wine, hot chocolate and farmhouse reblochon cheese in the square.
Costumes and accessories for hire/sale with Le Bal Masqué at the Tourist Office's Salon d'Honneur. :

Tuesday, 10am to 7pm
Face painting at the Tourist Office from 2pm to 6pm. Registration opens the previous Sunday, in person, subject to availability.
