Description
Cani-Walk is all about discovering the bond between dog and human through physical activity, using the right equipment. This educational walk is led by a certified musher and is suitable for hikers of all levels, allowing you to appreciate the training of our athletic dogs.
The morning is dedicated to a cani-hike in Les Carroz or Passy (Plaine Joux).
The full activity lasts between 2.5 and 3 hours. It begins with a briefing and equipment fitting, followed by a one-hour hike, with breaks for both participants and dogs along the way. Suitable for all abilities, the activity is led by a qualified musher, who adapts the route to each participant's fitness level and pace while sharing their passion and knowledge of sled dogs.
In the afternoon, head to Magland to meet the dogs in their home environment. This immersive experience offers a behind-the-scenes look at a musher's daily life, including caring for and feeding the pack, while enjoying a special opportunity to spend time with the dogs.
You can combine both activities. We recommend bringing a packed lunch.
This activity is suitable for most participants, subject to the guide's professional assessment. A reasonable level of fitness is recommended. Children aged 6 and over may take part, at the discretion of the qualified musher. This activity is not suitable for pregnant women.
Booking is compulsory.
When booking, please specify your disability (visual, hearing or mental) in advance.
