Are you looking to spend your vacation in a peaceful setting that’s also close to the many attractions of Haute-Savoie, both in summer and winter? We’re offering this 42-square-meter furnished two-bedroom apartment for rent, featuring two bedrooms and an open-concept kitchen/living room. The apartment is located on the first floor of a renovated old farmhouse and has its own separate entrance. It is fully equipped with a microwave, oven, fridge-freezer, TV, and Wi-Fi. The washing machine is shared among the three apartments available for rent, as are the raclette and fondue sets. We can provide board games and baby gear (travel crib, changing pad, baby bathtub, and baby-safe dishes) upon request. This two-bedroom apartment can sleep up to 4 people. The sheltered balcony allows you to enjoy meals outdoors with a superb view of the mountains. The farmhouse is located in a quiet, easily accessible hamlet; it has an ideal orientation and is surrounded by a beautiful garden. For your shopping needs, there is a convenient mini-market and bakery in the village center, 4 km away. In the neighboring village, less than 15 minutes away, you’ll find two supermarkets as well as local services (pharmacy, hair salon, bank, post office, restaurants, etc.). The apartment is located between 10 and 20 minutes by car from four downhill and cross-country ski resorts: “Praz de Lys-Sommand,” “Les Brasses/Plaine-Joux,” “Roc d'Enfer,” and “Hirmentaz.” They are easily accessible, family-friendly, and offer magnificent views of Mont Blanc, Lake Geneva, or the surrounding peaks! In summer, there are numerous hiking opportunities near the apartment (with extraordinary views of the Mont Blanc range), such as “La Pointe de Mribel,” “La Pointe de la Chalune,” “Lac de Roy,” “Montagne d'Hirmentaz,” “Cascade de la Diomaz,” ... as well as summer sports such as mountain biking, road cycling, paragliding, and swimming (including an outdoor pool 4 km away with its own view of Mont Blanc!) … You can also go for a walk around Lake Geneva, or even take a swim there, as Thonon-les-Bains is just a 40-minute drive away. You can also easily visit local farms selling regional products; some have an educational focus and are a hit with the kids! For foodies, there are several restaurants within a 10-minute drive. And of course, not far from the apartment, you’ll find several cheese shops offering regional cheeses. Finally, the Viuz en Sallaz Farm Museum, the Wildlife Museum, the Maison de la Belle Vallée, and the Alpine Garden in Bellevaux, or the Chartreuse de Mélan in Taninges, offer wonderful opportunities to explore the region’s culture.
