For the 30th edition of the Megève Jazz Contest, a gala evening will close this festival with a prestigious jazz show perpetuating the success of the legendary Glenn Miller orchestra, followed by the proclamation of the results and the awarding of prizes.

Fans of big band jazz will be delighted to discover this prestigious show, which perpetuates the success of Glenn Miller's legendary orchestra live, offering a fresh take on his arrangements in the pure tradition of the swing era.
The ensemble's cohesion, the soloists' contributions, and the orchestra's sound, remarkably faithful to that of the bands of this golden age, are the result of meticulous work, where the original arrangements from the United States are restored to their original sound. A rhythm section at the forefront of swing, a formidable brass section, and the breathtaking dancers of the Funky Swing Dancers perfectly complement the contributions of the soloists, English singer Gead Mulheran, and three superb female singers: Véronique Bossa, Brenda Della Valle, and Sophie Uvodic.
Never-before-seen and original footage of Glenn Miller's orchestra is projected on the big screen while these 25 artists on stage invite you to rediscover, in a spectacular show staged especially for this occasion, timeless classics such as American Patrol, Moonlight Serenade, Serenade in Blue, In the Mood, Chattanooga Chao Chao, Stardust, Pennsylvania 6500, and many more.
