Objective of the game: Using your game booklet and a map, you’ll set out in the hamlet of Romme in search of 8 checkpoints. At each checkpoint, the children are invited to answer a question. All the answers combined will give you a code word for a surprise How to play: Stop by our tourist information offices in Romme, Cluses, Le Reposoir, and Mont-Saxonnex to pick up your game booklet. The Route: The trail begins across from the ski lodge in Romme. It’s an easy hike. Much of the route is along the road, so it can get hot in the summer. We recommend wearing closed-toe shoes. Location: Romme is a hamlet of Nancy-sur-Cluses, located at 1,300 meters on the Col. You can get there either from Cluses or from the village of Reposoir. Things to do and see in the village: In the village, you’ll find a large playground, a free-access soccer field, and other hiking trails. Food and drink: The bar-restaurant La Rebloche offers a children’s menu and high chairs. You can also enjoy a drink or a bite to eat on the patio. You can have a picnic at the picnic table next to the lookout point, at the end of the parking lot, or at the one located at the playground 100 meters from the Tourist Office, past the soccer field. Finding shade: The trail has no shade. To eat in the shade, choose the covered table next to the playground. Parking: There are plenty of parking spaces near the lookout (on your right after the sign for Romme when arriving from Cluses). Restrooms: The restrooms are located in the Tourist Office building. However, they are only open when the office is open. For individuals, no reservation is required. For groups and school groups, it is best to contact the tourist office.
