Explore the abbey site at your own pace: take a meditative break in the cloister and immerse yourself in the exceptional world of 15th-century wall paintings. Then take in the exhibition, “De l'histoire à l'art : patrimoines sacrés en vallée d'Abondance”, located in several rooms of the former convent buildings. Here you'll discover the treasures of the site's collection. Finally, take a walk through the abbey's former orchard to enjoy a breathtaking view of the monument's architecture. (Weather permitting.) When you arrive, a mobile site accessible by flashing a QR-Code with your phone, is available to take you on a tour of Abondance Abbey. Explanatory panels are also available along the way.
