Explore the two cultural sites in the village of Abondance with the DUO offer. At Abondance Abbey, discover all the treasures of this historic monument. From the abbey church to the 15th-century murals adorning the cloister, our mediators will reveal all its secrets before letting you explore the exhibition “De l'histoire à l'art, Patrimoines sacrés en vallée d'Abondance” and the abbey's former orchard (weather permitting). At the Maison du Fromage Abondance, set off on a 9-stage sensory discovery tour of landscapes, gestures and techniques. Accompanied by an interpreter, you'll learn all about the star cheese of the Abondance valley, before sampling it. A supplement of €3.50 can be added for a tasting at the Maison du fromage Abondance (cubes of Abondance cheese accompanied by a glass of Savoy white wine or farmhouse apple juice). Reservation required.

From the shores of Lake Geneva, access via the Gavot plateau, heading towards the Abondance valley (approx. 40 mins).

The entrance to the site is located at Place de l’Abbatiale, accessible from the village centre via the Passage des Chanoines.

Separate access to the church (no visits during services).
