The route takes you through the Chevran Mountains, offering breathtaking views of the Arve Valley. You’ll then explore the Agy Plateau before reaching the peaceful village of Saint-Sigismond, nestled at an elevation of 900 meters.

Starting from Le Chevran, this route takes you on a beautiful climb through the forest, offering exceptional panoramic views of the Arve Valley. After gaining some elevation, you’ll reach the Plateau d’Agy—a destination for hiking in the summer and winter sports in the winter—where you can explore lush alpine meadows, fir forests, and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. The first day ends in the charming village of Saint-Sigismond, where tranquility and nature reign supreme. The next day, you’ll descend via another trail from Le Chevran, ensuring a different experience at every stage. No matter what hike you're planning, be sure to pack cereal bars, plenty of water, sunglasses, sunscreen, a small first-aid kit, and clothing appropriate for your outing based on the season and the forecast.

Park in the Claude Anthoine parking lot in Cluses. Then head to the trailhead by returning to Rue du 8 Mai, crossing the railroad tracks, and continuing along Boulevard du Chevran until you reach the intersection that goes up to the right just behind the “Chevran” bus stop.
