The first stage of this short 2-day itinerary takes you to the Parmelan refuge. At 1832m, the Parmelan refuge overlooks Annecy, offering exceptional panoramic views of the Aravis mountains and Mont Blanc.

Access (by car): From Annecy, join Villaz. Once in Villaz, take the Route d'Aviernoz (D5), then the Route du Parmelan. The Bois Brûlé parking lot is at the end of the road.
