The city of Évian is proud to host the Tour de France and thus celebrate the hundredth anniversary of the great start in 1926. In 1926, the riders of the Tour de France set off from Évian for the longest edition ever (5,745 kilometers).

It was the first time that the event had started outside the capital. 100 years later, the stars of world cycling will leave Barcelona... before meeting up at our place, in Évian, for a time trial stage on 21 July!
