• WINTER: The privileged location of the refuge in the heart of the ski area is an essential stop in your day of skiing..
  From the Mont d'Arbois, you can ski on the Epaule du Mont Joly chairlift on a groomed red trail marked «les marmottes».
  A small snowshoe hike allows you to access by the top of the chairlift of Chef-Lieu (open to pedestrians) from St Nicolas de Véroce. (count 45mn go)
  
  ETE: From the village of St Nicolas de Véroce, take the direction of the Plan de la Croix to access with your vehicle to the parking lot of the place called the Planet. (About 25mn walk to arrive at the Refuge on a path without technical difficulty.. )
  From the Princess or the Mont d'Arbois a beautiful hike allows you to access the refuge on the crests (count about 1h30)
  
  Close to the most beautiful hikes of the Mont Joly massif.
  
  Access:
  - 20mn by vehicle from St Gervais
  - 35 minutes by car from Megève
  Parking at the Plateau de la Croix car park, a 1 hour 10 minute walk from the refuge.
