- Lake Vernant is located upstream from the resort, in a mountain hollow bearing the same name.
If you are coming by car, please park at the free Vernant car park, located about 10 minutes from Flaine. When arriving from the resort of Les Carroz, the car park will be on your right-hand side. From the car park, allow around a 30-minute walk to reach the site.
In summer, during school holidays, free shuttle buses are available directly from the resorts of Flaine or Les Carroz. Simply ask the driver to drop you off at the “Vernant” stop. This stop is located in the same place as the free car park. From there, you will need to walk for about 30 minutes with an elevation gain of 100 metres to reach the lake.
