Rock On Snow is the event that kicks off winter in the Portes du Soleil. Every year, Avoriaz welcomes passionate riders, families and the curious to enjoy a weekend of sport, celebration and discovery. Both on the slopes and in the resort, the atmosphere is electric: tests of the latest equipment, introductory courses for all levels, open-air concerts and fun activities create a friendly, unifying atmosphere. Every year, Rock On Snow brings together over 10,000 participants on the slopes of Avoriaz and throughout the resort. The test village features over 50 brands of skis and snowboards, giving riders the chance to try out almost 200 different models free of charge. More than 20 concerts and DJ sets punctuate the weekend, while 15 workshops and initiations allow beginners and experts alike to perfect their technique in a festive and friendly atmosphere.
