Away from the horns and traffic, this initiative supported by the Haute-Savoie Departmental Council is transforming the tarmac into the ideal playground for cycling enthusiasts.

Haute-Savoie at the top

The passes are yours!

This summer, warm up your calves and take a deep breath: the most beautiful passes in Haute-Savoie are yours… or almost. Every Tuesday, and one special Sunday, the mountain roads are closed to motorised vehicles to make way for cyclists. A unique moment of freedom on the most beautiful routes in the department!

 The road is yours!

Whether you’re a seasoned climber or a weekend cyclist, these mornings are the perfect opportunity to (re)discover the region’s legendary mountain passes in dream conditions: no time trial, no registration, no competition. Just you, your bike… and the beauty of the peaks.

 A pass, a date, a challenge

Every Tuesday throughout the summer, and on Sunday 20 July, get on your bike and climb one of the department’s iconic mountain passes. With its tight bends, breathtaking views and fresh air, the experience promises to be as much fun as it is challenging.

Another way to climb the peaks

This summer programme is designed to promote soft mobility, enhance our natural heritage and encourage shared enjoyment. Each ascent becomes a personal adventure, punctuated by the sound of the wind in the spruce trees and the satisfaction of reaching the summit by sheer strength of leg.
