Situated at an altitude of 1,500 metres above the Arve Valley, the Solaison plateau reveals a peaceful and grandiose setting in winter. From the village of Brison, you can access this haven of silence, where the Nordic ski runs wind between open mountain pastures and quiet forests. Suitable for both classic and skating, the area offers routes for all abilities, in a bright, unspoilt atmosphere. Biathlon enthusiasts will also find a dedicated beginners’ area. As for snowshoeing, the marked trails lead to exceptional panoramas, such as the Pointe d’Andey, for a total immersion in the mountains. After the effort, it’s time to enjoy some typical Savoyard dishes served in the inns on the plateau.
