Not to be missedAn exceptional spa heritage
Inaugurated in 1902, the Palais Lumière was once a prestigious spa with a capacity for up to 1,200 treatments a day. Designed by the architect Ernest Brunnarius, the building’s monumental façade, framed by bell towers and decorated with earthenware tiles, is still impressive today. Under the entrance porch, two canvases by the painter Jean Benderly celebrate water, Evian’s emblematic resource. Closed in 1984 and then classified as a Historic Monument, the building has been carefully restored in keeping with its original architecture. It remains a striking testimony to the town’s spa past and its deep connection with water.
