Paccard Museum

At the heart of the magic of bells

For more than two centuries, the Fonderie Paccard has been perpetuating its exceptional expertise, handed down from father to son since 1796. Eight generations have crafted more than 120,000 bells, flying the colours of France around the world, and creating products that have left their mark on the history of the bell industry.

Not to be missed The art of bells

For more than 225 years, the Paccard foundry has been making world-famous bells. Its masterpieces include the Savoyarde, the largest bell in France, and the World Peace Bell, the largest flying bell in the world.

At the museum, discover the workshops, watch the bells being cast (Thursdays by prior arrangement) and enjoy a unique experience with bell concerts. A special tour introduces you to the job of a bell maker, the person who looks after bell towers.
