In the heart of the Albanais region, halfway between Annecy and Aix les Bains, the Crosagny ponds are an exceptional natural site. Discover it and its surroundings on this itinerary starting from the Rumilly lake.

Classified as a Natura 2000 site and a Sensitive Natural Area of European interest, this walk immerses you in the natural habitat of a preserved flora and fauna. The Beaumont marshes, adjoining the ponds, are an inaccessible zone, designed to protect the site's protected species.

Along these flat, rolling paths, discover the natural heritage and history of the site, thanks to the various educational panels that line the trails. Take the time to use the ornithological observatory open to the public, offering a breathtaking view of all the Crosagny ponds.
