On the heights of the commune of Dingy-Saint-Clair, near Annecy, this walk offers a more confidential alternative to the classic Parmelan access path from Bois Brûlé.
Along this path, mostly shaded by undergrowth, you'll reach the hamlet of La Blonnière, the Col de Barman and the Chalet Chappuis.
The Chalet Chappuis is a unique viewpoint over Lake Annecy. Between May and October, you can enjoy Savoyard dishes and take home farm produce.
You'll also pass through the Col de Barman, the junction between the Lachat mountain and the Parmelan, offering beautiful views of the lake and the Parmelan cliffs.
At this crossroads, you'll come across a historic itinerary: the path of Captain Anjot, a member of the Resistance who was shot in 1944 during the Second World War.
Whatever your hike, remember to pack cereal bars, plenty of water, sunglasses, sunscreen, a small first-aid kit, and clothing appropriate to the season and weather forecast.
