In an exceptional landscape, in the heart of the Aravis massif, the Plateau des Confins offers numerous hiking possibilities. Come and discover this not-to-be-missed site with a donkey or pony, a wonderful walking companion who will carry the little ones or your hiking bags and motivate the older ones. Whether you're a family, a budding hiker or an experienced walker, we offer a range of itineraries through this authentic natural heritage.

Two tried-and-tested formulas:

- Discovery walk :
Accompany your child on a pony or donkey ride over an easy 15-minute walk. Children aged 2 and over and weighing up to 40 kg can ride the animal, which is guided by the parents.
(With or without reservation).

- Donkey, pony or llama rental:
Set off on your own, with family or friends, along the marked trails. A wide range of rides and packages to suit all tastes:
* Stroll around the goat farm: 45 min.
* Tour of Lac des Confins: 1h
* Refuge de Paccaly: 1h30
* Bellavarde ridges: 2h
* Snack and walk: 2h30
* Sur Frête" circuit: 3h
* Gollet circuit or Tête du Danay: 4h
* The great Danay loop: 5h

But also :
* One-day personalized tour
* Hike and overnight in a refuge (departure at 3pm, return the next day at 1pm)
* Hiking and overnight under the stars (2 days)

New features:
* On request, you can be accompanied by an instructor.
* Pony or donkey initiation sessions on request: brushing, saddling and rides supervised by an instructor.
* We welcome groups of children (birthday parties, camps, schools, leisure centers, etc.).

Cancelled in case of bad weather

We recommend bringing light rain gear and proper hiking shoes that you have walked in before. Don't forget hats and sunscreen. A small emergency pharmacy (antiseptic, dressings, aspirin or doliprane for children, etc.) is always practical. Finally, think of water, something to snack on or a picnic.

For walks lasting more than 15 minutes, it is advisable to reserve your animal the day before your arrival or a few days in advance. In the event of bad weather, you can postpone your reservation (subject to availability) or cancel it.
