Discover the Ferme à Isidore, a pastoral building constructed in 1832 and listed as a Historic Monument. Throughout the visit, step into 19th-century pastoral life in Combloux and explore the traditional skills that have shaped the region.
The experience continues with the exhibition by the Musée de la Pente, “Ice and Glaciers, the Imprint of Humankind”, bringing together photographs by Pascal Tournaire and paintings by the renowned Alpine artist Gabriel Loppé. Through their intersecting perspectives, the exhibition questions the relationship between humankind and the high mountains, the memory of glaciers, and the transformations of alpine landscapes.
Because knowledge cannot exist without practice, the visit concludes with the discovery of a vernacular tradition: spinning sheep’s wool.
A family-friendly experience.
