The Vallée Blanche is a collection of exceptional itineraries that allow you to discover the high mountain environment on skis. It's a real excursion into the heart of the glaciers, in breathtaking surroundings. A descent of over 20 kilometers takes you from the summit of the Aiguille du Midi to Chamonix. To complete the most classic itinerary with peace of mind, you'll need to be able to move easily on an ungroomed red run.
Supervision by a qualified guide is the surest way to make the most of this activity. His or her experience will enable him or her to choose the best route and share with you his or her knowledge of the area and passion for the mountains. Skiers must be able to control their speed, skidding and making moderate turns as determined by the itinerary.
