Like trappers in the Far North, let's discover some of the region's animals by following their tracks.
The project can (depending on the group's wishes) be broken down into 2 half-days.
The first, indoors, with various activities to discover mammals and the trapper spirit.
The second, in the wild. After gathering everyone's ideas on the theme, the leader presents the various clues to the presence of mammals in nature; then, in teams, the group follows one of the many animal tracks (beforehand, the leader will have placed around fifty footprints for each animal and information on them in the woods).
At the same time, they observe and collect signs of animal presence to identify them.
They can also focus on animal sounds (songs, cries, etc.) and smells in the woods.
The activity ends with a discussion of the findings and leads followed.
Meals: packed lunch.
Equipment required : Depending on the weather and altitude: cap, sun cream, water, sweater, windbreaker, sneakers or mountain boots.
