A magnificent combination of valley-bottom, mountain pass and mountain trail landscapes between Lake Annecy and the secret Aravis mountains. Cycling tip : Calculate your departure time to avoid the climb to the Col du Marais in the middle of the day (due south). Ideas for an overnight stay: In Thônes : - Le gîte des Mésanges, a large character house dating from the 1920s. - Hôtel du Midi in the heart of the town center.
