An ideal walk for young children in Romme. Explore the life of the forest and the authentic charm of the hamlet on this accessible snowshoe loop, perfect for a family introduction to the joys of winter.
From the Tourist Office chalet, start your walk by crossing the soccer pitch. Continue across the snow-covered field to join the departmental road which runs downhill towards the village of Le Reposoir. At the "Romme" trail sign, near a roadside cross, cross the carriageway carefully. Climb down the small hillock and take the path into the forest on your left. At the first intersection, stay on the main path to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the woods. At the "Le Pare" sign, fork left, following the signs for "Tour du Pare". The path leaves the forest cover and climbs up through the fields. Keep going until you reach the main road. Opposite the roadside signs, cross the road again and climb 50 metres. Then take the path on your left, which runs parallel to the road. This last section takes you back to the path leading up to Vormy. All that's left to do now is to make your way quietly back down to the road to reach your starting point at the Tourist Office chalet.

Open-access playground on the trail.
