Megève, the most gourmet village in the Alps, is organising the 8th edition of its Cuisine Festival: When young chefs twist the classics of mountain cuisine. Toquicimes will be sponsored by Hélène Darroze and Norbert Tarayre.
Every autumn, Toquicimes pulls out all the stops to bring together star chefs, up-and-coming talent, local producers and craftspeople, Meilleurs Ouvriers de France and students from the Groisy campus... In a new format, the Mountain Cuisine Festival offers a culinary immersion combining tastings, events and meetings with top chefs.
On the menu for this 8th edition are competitions, masterclasses, challenges, workshops for children and adults, and a farmers' market... This year, the festival is creating a surprise with new features such as: the Toquicimes SCHOOL and a family competition devoted to local fruit tarts.
