An incredible journey into the daily lives of four women in the early 20th century. A touching and captivating play, 1h40 of history, laughter and emotion.
Julie, Jeanne, Rose and Louise work in an armaments factory in 1914. They are four female workers from different backgrounds who, in the absence of men, must confront the world of work and suffer the injustice reserved for women. Yet in this frightening world, exchange, solidarity and friendship emerge. The journey of Louise, a suffragist activist, will challenge each of her comrades and offer them a new vision of the independent, free woman. Thanks to their courage, they will unite and take part in women's long struggle for equality. Equal pay for equal work.
