Take on the Tête Noire massif (1746 m) with a sporty loop via the Col de la Forclaz! Between forest tracks, mountain pastures, chalets and panoramic views of the Arve Valley and the Fiz, discover a whole new side of Passy Mont-Blanc.
From the Passy Mont-Blanc Tourist Office, head to the heights of Chedde to join the Route de Servoz and Lac des Fins Soudans.
You will then cross the Arve at a lower level before gradually arriving at Le Châtelard. This is where the climb to the Col de la Forclaz really begins!
At the Col, you can reach the summit of Tête Noire via a short out-and-back path (caution: several portages to be expected on a partly technical route).
The descent to the other side of the massif takes in Montfort, Les Plagnes and L'Abbaye, before a more leisurely return to the Tourist Office.
