Your appointment on Saturday, January 10th:
Following the release of the first two volumes of the graphic novel about polar explorer Paul-Émile Victor, Stéphane Niveau, co-author and co-writer, will discuss the behind-the-scenes aspects of this collaborative project and the two forthcoming volumes.
Paul-Émile Victor, an ambassador for the polar regions before his time, a lover and advocate for these areas, passed away 30 years ago, but the polar regions are more than ever at the heart of the new geopolitical landscape. This graphic novel offers an opportunity to examine these new challenges. A geologist and geographer by training, Stéphane Niveau has been a mountain and polar guide for over 25 years. Co-founder and director of the Paul-Émile Victor Polar Worlds Museum until 2023, he is a polar expert for Grand Nord Grand Large. He lives in Thônes.
Saturday, January 10th, at 7:00 PM, followed by a discussion.
Snacks and drinks will be available before and after the presentation.
Free admission.
Reservations recommended: contact@logarajo.com.
