The different levels of group or private snowboard lessons:
CHILDREN'S SNOWBOARD PROGRESSION :
PIOU-PIOU SNOWBOARD
I'm learning to balance and enjoying my first slides on my board.
Accompanied by an instructor, I get to know my equipment and learn to use my first lifts.
I gain confidence and feel at ease when making my first changes of direction.
SNOWBOARD BEAR
My first snowboard skids
Gain mobility
Adopt a basic attitude
Using lifts on a snowboard
Perform backside and frontside turns with a basic attitude, independently and safely on gentle slopes.
FLOCON SNOWBOARD
Discover jibs (sliding phases on modules).
Switch direction changes (rounding off in reverse).
Link discovery turns with a basic attitude, independently and safely on gentle slopes.
1st STAR SNOWBOARD
Perform different types of sliding 180° turns (front, cab, back, switch)
Deform my board during gliding phases (tailpress, nosepress)
Link basic turns at constant speed and radius, independently and with maximum safety on gentle slopes.
2nd STAR SNOWBOARD
Discover vertical movement to make it easier to pivot my snowboard.
Maintain an average speed over a certain distance with the board flat.
Refine my riding phases during turns
Deform my board during jibs (sliding on modules)
Evolve on gentle to medium slopes in normal foot (forward) mode
Link up elementary switch turns, independently and safely on gentle slopes.
SNOWBOARD PROGRESSION TEENS/ADULTS :
SNOWBOARD DÉCOUVERTE
Manage my movements and balance on the flat and in direct tracks.
Control my speed and direction and learn how to stop
Make my first skids
Discover jibs (sliding phases on modules), do a 50/50 on a box
Switch direction changes (round off in reverse)
Use snowboard lifts
Perform and link discovery turns while maintaining a basic attitude, independently and with maximum safety on gentle slopes.
1st SNOWBOARD
Develop balance on a snowboard
Change direction by performing different types of 180° turns (front, cab, back, switch).
Deform my board during gliding phases (tailpress, nosepress)
Perform basic turns at constant speed and radius, independently and with maximum safety on gentle slopes.
2nd SNOWBOARD
Use vertical movement to facilitate snowboard pivoting
Refine my driving phases during turns.
Stop quickly, with maximum safety: frontside and backside brake sideslips
Group in the air to prepare for grabs (catch your board during a jump)
Perform basic long- and short-radius turns, independently and safely on gentle to medium slopes.
3rd SNOWBOARD
Perform 180° back and switch jumps interspersed with a frontside turn.
Perform a balanced Grab on an intermediate kicker (4 to 6-meter jump).
Perform perfected long- and short-radius turns, independently and with maximum safety on gentle to steep slopes, varying trajectories and rhythm, on all types of snow and terrain, whether natural (powder, etc.) or developed (boardercross, snowpark, etc.).
SNOWBOARD EXPERT
Control, anticipate and adapt trajectories and speed to all types of situations with style and efficiency.
Perform a series of flat moves.
Take the start of a timed course: bank, boarder or giant slalom.
Perform long and short-radius expert turns independently and as safely as possible on all types of slopes (gentle to steep), snow and natural terrain (off-piste, powder, etc.) (boardercross, snowpark, etc.).
