The guides of La Clusaz have developed full-day circuits to allow you to discover or deepen your skills in ski touring in exceptional conditions. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced skier, come learn the basic techniques, raise your awareness of safety in winter conditions, navigate in all snow types, and challenge yourself with great ascents.
Outings adapted to all levels:
- Beginner: "Discovery Outing". Accessible to physically fit individuals who can ski down a red run. Elevation gain of 400 to 800 meters. From 16 years old. Maximum of 6 people.
- Intermediate: "Great Summits". Accessible to individuals who engage in physical activity year-round and master skiing in all types of snow. Elevation gain of 800 to 1500 meters. From 16 years old. Maximum of 6 people.
- Advanced: "Ski Mountaineering". Accessible to individuals who engage in physical activity year-round, have good experience in ski touring, and master the conversion technique. Sections may involve carrying skis, and basic crampon skills are required. Elevation gain of 1500 to 1800 meters. From 18 years old. Maximum of 2 people.
Equipment to bring:
- Ski touring equipment (skis, boots, skins, ski crampons)
- Warm clothing
- Backpack, water, packed lunch
- Depending on the level of the outing: mountaineering equipment (crampons and ice axes)
