The present church is an 18th-century construction in the classical style. It comprises a single nave, a transept and a choir. The nave is barrel-vaulted, and the column capitals are carved with plant and figurative motifs.
Scionzier's first church was built in the 12th century, on the remains of an early Christian church. It was rebuilt in the 14th century, and again in the 18th century.
