Immerse yourself in the unique winter atmosphere by joining Raquettes en Fête, a friendly event organized by ADAM 74 (Association of Mountain Guides of Haute-Savoie) in collaboration with Praz de Lys Sommand Tourism.
This event, open to everyone, is the perfect opportunity to explore winter activities and rediscover snowshoeing in an exceptional setting.
Activities for all ages and interests
Starting at 9:30 AM, a complimentary breakfast will be offered by the tourist office. From 10:00 AM, the Front de Neige de Chevaly will transform into a hub of discovery featuring:
- Snowshoe hikes: Guided introductory sessions led by professionals, perfect for exploring the scenery and enriching your knowledge of the mountain environment.
- Igloo building: Learn traditional techniques to build a snow shelter in this fun and engaging activity.
- Winter safety workshop: Get acquainted with essential safety equipment (avalanche beacon, shovel, probe) and learn the right reflexes for snowy mountain conditions.
All equipment is provided by the organizers.
€3 per activity, per person.
Registration is available at the tourist office or on-site on the event day.
